David A. Weesner
Pastor Rev. David A. Weesner has been the pastor at Salem United Methodist Church since June of 2000. Before coming to Council Bluffs, Dave previously served Christ UMC in Belle Plaine for seven years, Faith UMC in Humboldt, Iowa for three years as an assoc. pastor, and Corydon Cooperative Parish in Corydon, Iowa for three years as a student pastor.
David and Cheryl were married in 1973 and have three sons who are married to three wonderful young women. They enjoy their eight grandchildren. |

Janice Carlton
Associate Pastor Janice is a retired school teacher (mostly high school German) currently living in Omaha, NE, soon to be moving to the Manawa area. She went to licensing school at the Dubuque Seminary in 1999. Janice served two different appointments (Red Oak Circuit and Elliott-Pilot Grove) before she left the ministry to help care for her mother. Since retiring, she has taught ESL for Iowa Western Community College and substitute taught. She has two children, Josephine (26, Anchorage, AK) and Alex (29, Omaha, NE). |

Amy Krueger
Executive Administrator Amy is originally from Walnut, Iowa. She graduated from University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's degree in Public Administration. Amy has worked in the non-profit and government fields for many years as an administrator.
Her hobbies include knitting, reading and playing with her two cats, Elvis and Chica. Amy spends much of her time with her parents and two brothers. |
